Description

Diversity and Respect - How Respect Makes Diversity Work

This program is designed to demonstrate how respect serves as the critical factor that makes diversity work and that supports a diverse population and environment. The Speaker introduces the concept of diversity (dimensions, benefits, and challenges of diversity), followed by the powerful concept of respect as the cornerstone of a healthy and sustainable relationship - professional or personal. The speaker introduces a foundational discussion about respect and the elements that make up respect - rooted in the EKTIMIS Respect Model - a powerful visual framework for learning and teaching respect, researched and developed by the Speaker.

The Speaker goes on to illustrate the powerful nexus between respect and diversity, and how respect is the necessary factor for overcoming the challenges that come with diversity. Business executives, senior management, up-and-coming leaders, and college campus students have found this presentation vital and enlightening, and sometimes transformational in their views and attitude. The speaker engages the use of relate-able, fun stories and examples to illustrate the topic.

Typically, for audience sizes fewer than 100, participants receive a copy of either of the books, The Top Ten Laws of Respect - A Personal Guide or The Top Ten Laws of Respect in the Workplace - A Professional Guide, both authored by the speaker. For even smaller audience sizes, participants may receive the entire Top Ten Laws of Respect book series - which includes The Top Ten Laws of Respect at Home - A Family Guide.

This speaking program is typically provided in a town hall (interactive) format - to an executive or senior management audience, or to a workforce audience, or to a university campus audience. This program is also suitable for a private leadership development group audience.
