Description

Respect in the Workplace - Lunch Time Series

A series and collection of ten (10) one-hour-duration speaking programs, delivered during lunch break, focused on the topic of respect in the workplace. Each one-hour speaking program is delivered once per week - over a total period of ten to thirteen weeks.

Before the first speaking session, midway through the program, and after the last session, a survey is performed to gather and analyze useful information from the workforce so that the effectiveness of the series is measured.

The speaker covers three primary topics - The Top Ten Laws of Respect in the Workplace, the EKTIMIS Respect Model (a graphical illustration of the components of respect), and the relationship between leadership and respect.

The speaker introduces the powerful concept of respect as the cornerstone of a healthy workplace culture. Respect is presented in a simplified new light, covering the basic concepts that govern respect, the principles that govern factors that explain the way you gain and lose respect, and the practices that enable a person to maintain respect - in an increasingly diverse workplace. All the principles and concepts presented are research-based and are rooted in the EKTIMIS Respect Model - a powerful framework for learning and teaching respect (developed by N. Taiwo).

He engages the use of relate-able stories and examples to illustrate each aspect of the insightful topic. Past audiences have left inspired, renewed, and energized - with a positive shift in attitude.

This speaking program may be provided in a variety of formats, including Keynote, town hall (interactive), or seminar (instructional / workshop) style. A format that best meets the client's needs and requirements is selected or proposed.

Audiences will receive a copy of the book, The Top Ten Laws of Respect in the Workplace - A Professional Guide, authored by N. Taiwo.
